DiaMaria

I redesigned DiaMaria's website and turned one raw studio shoot into a matched set of product images.

A model in a champagne satin dress wearing DiaMaria's marquise and pear diamond lariat, holding a coupe glass, a diamond eternity band on her finger

The photos I started with

One raw studio shoot, each ring small and soft on a blue-grey sweep, and a few phone photos sent over chat. Little of it could go on the site as it was.

The untouched studio frame: a pink radiant-cut ring sits small and soft in the middle of a wide blue-grey backdrop

A phone photo of the lariat on a grey velvet display bust: the marquise diamond at the neck, the drop chain running out of frame

Under the loupe

The frame from the shoot, as it came, and the finished packshot of the same ring.

The untouched studio frame: an emerald-cut diamond ring with tapered baguettes, small on a blue-grey backdrop
The finished packshot: the same emerald-cut ring upright in a three-quarter view on pure white

Move the loupe over the frame. Arrow keys work too.

One look, piece after piece

Each piece I imaged gets the same pure white ground, fixed angles for its category and one faint shadow, so they read as one shoot.

  • Packshot of an emerald-cut diamond ring with tapered baguettes, seen from above on pure white
  • Packshot of a pink radiant-cut diamond ring flanked by two white heart-shaped diamonds, on pure white
  • Packshot of a diamond tennis necklace laid in a long loop on pure white, a blue heart-shaped stone hanging at its centre
  • Packshot of a diamond lariat necklace on pure white: a marquise diamond at the neck and a pear diamond at the end of the drop chain

Worn, not pasted

Early worn images looked pasted onto the model. I learned to work from real photos of the piece and to set it at its true size.

  1. The raw studio frame: the blue heart tennis necklace lying in a loose, uneven loop on the blue-grey backdrop

  2. The finished packshot: the same necklace laid in an even loop on pure white, the blue heart centred

  3. The necklace worn above a black strapless top, the blue heart resting just below the collarbone

A catalogue she can run herself

The founder can add pieces, reorder collections and compose pages herself. Private enquiries arrive in the same place.

The Olympic collection page on a phone: four five-ring pendants in a two-by-two grid on the same white ground, each with its name and metal
The same product page on a phone: the ring gallery with thumbnails, then the piece name and an Enquire button

Scenes for the house

Images for the house and its collection pages, each one built around a real DiaMaria piece.

What changed

A quiet catalogue, live, with images that finally match the pieces.

  • Live at diamaria.com

I designed and built it and made its product imagery, replacing the old WordPress site with a catalogue made for high jewellery.

  • Built in about a month

44 updates shipped between 31 August and 29 September 2026.

  • About 85 new product images

Across about 40 pieces, made with AI in my image studio from DiaMaria's own shoot and phone photos. The rest of the catalogue still uses its existing photos.

  • Run by the founder

Pieces, collection order, page layouts and private enquiries all live in one content studio she can edit herself.
